A Life Devoted to Words
Williamsji Maveli is a poet and author from Kerala who, through years of devoted writing, has earned a place of his own in the worlds of poetry and literary review. A postgraduate in Commerce from Christ College, his heart was always with words.
Early in his career he worked as an assistant script writer alongside the celebrated director Ramu Kariyat. He then spent over three decades in the UAE with Emirates Telecommunication Corporation and Thuraya Satellite Communications — all the while nurturing his craft.
Today he writes and designs freelance between Bangalore and Cochin, publishing poetry and prose in both English and Malayalam, and championing fellow writers around the world.
